Cleaning up after the floods
I feel so bad for one of my coworkers. The flooding that hit the city the other day really hit here home bad. She has home insurance but the flood is under some special exemption or something so she has to appeal and fight to get them to pay up. She’s not in a flood zone so she doesn’t have flood insurance. And somehow she found one of the only flat streets in the whole city. Those flat areas got hit the hardest.
This is a really stressful time for her and her family. I hope she’s able to get everything straightened out.
