My resume was a mess
I had to redo my resume last week. I took a look at it and there was stuff all over the place. When my hr department looks at it, they want to know exactly which dates I started which position at this company. I started here in 2006 but I’ve held 3 different titles. The sandwich position was a promotion though. When they consider me for a new position, they think I started my current position in 2006, which I didn’t. I started here in 2008. Although some days it feels like I’ve been here forever.
The positive in this situation is that I at least recognized that I needed a change. Hopefully this will lead to more job prospects for me.
