What’s with the sales calls at work?
Hrmmm. It’s kind of odd to say the least. Especially since for the past 2 years, I’ve hardly received any calls and now I’ve received at least 3 in the last week.
The first call was for a tax service. They said “I was in their system from last year”, which I know is untrue because I’ve done my taxes myself online for the past 4 years. The second call was for some “make money” system that they wanted to send me free tickets to. The third call was something similar and I just said “No” and hung up.
Now I’m sitting here racking my brain trying to figure out where they could have gotten this info from. I very rarely use my work phone number for anything so someone had to sell the information that I’ve given them.
It’s kind of annoying too. I answer the phone hoping it’s a recruiter and it’s some telemarketing person. In any event, we’re moving work locations in about 6 weeks so I won’t have to worry about this anymore.
