Ughh. This is a lot harder than I thought it would be. I do use a spreadsheet to keep track of everything. A normal check register wouldn’t be enough.

I know quite a few people who “bonus chase”, but once is enough for me.

You are playing a dangerous game and you run the risk of getting overdrafts if you don’t keep it in check. Do you use Mint to check your accounts? You might also keep a spreadsheet to track all those little purchases so you can see your balances before the purchases clear. Good luck.

I’ll have to look into that. I do use Gmail but it’s not for my main email address. Honestly I never even knew they offered that service. I’ll definitely have to check it out!

If you use Gmail…(and you should!!!!) then you can use the Google calendar to set up your bills. You just go to the calendar and put in the due date and set it give you reminders (weekly, monthly etc.) It can send you an email, a text or put a pop up on your screen. It is FREE so I use it for everything…from bill due dates to appointments to setting the reminder for me to take my birth control pill daily!!!! Woo hoo!!!

A lot of my wins come from Coke. The M&M’s game was something for Valentine’s Day and they gave away a ton of prizes, I won mostly candy.
I usually fill out those surveys even though some of them have horrible odds.
I haven’t won anything really big recently, but about 5 years ago I won a trip to Las Vegas from a sweepstakes I saw in Vibe Magazine.

Girl you just amaze me with all the sweepstakes things you win. I really need to look at some of these to see if I can get any. I keep getting those receipts that say fill out a survey but I never do them because I think I won’t win.

Yeah but it is even worse for those of us who are unemployed. I stopped counting the number of interviews I have been on and the rejection letters I get the longer I stay unemployed. Employers are being picky now because there are so many people applying for the same position.
