Worked totally sucked today

I’m being pulled in too many directions at work. I’ve been trained to do multiple jobs for multiple teams. The one work-leader that I have to work for is a pain in my neck. Every 5 minutes she’s at my desk asking if what I’m working on is done. I thought she was just breathing down my neck but I found out from other people that’s just the way she is. It wasn’t like I was on the internet looking for pet beds or anything. I haven’t even been on the internet at work at all except to look for another job within the company. I’m not leaving my company but I definitely want out of my department.

I don’t know how much longer I can stay there before I go crazy.

I want those shoes

Wahhhh!! I really wanted these shoes but I was being cheap and didn’t buy them. They weren’t that expensive but they’re a pair that I can only wear with 1 or 2 outfits. I finally broke down and decided to buy them. But the store doesn’t carry them anymore. I’ve gone to several websites and no-one has them.

I should have just gotten them when I wanted them.

The grocery store is so expensive

I usually buy certain foods from WalMart and just get my fresh fruit, milk and bread from the grocery store. However this weekend I didn’t feel like driving to the mall so I just went to my local grocery store. It is so much more expensive! I usually buy a box of oatmeal and it’s $1.50 more at the grocery store. My soda and yogurt about the same unless it’s on sale. Then I get if from the grocery store.

No wonder WalMart gets so many customers from the regular grocery stores. You really do save a ton of money!

I need to start buying bulk snacks

I think I talked about my 11am run before but if not I’ll describe it again. Every day I just need to get away from my desk for a few minutes. Some days I walk around the building and some days I just go to our convenience store. I’ll buy snacks when I go to the store but they get expensive.

I go to either WalMart or the grocery store every week so it just makes sense to stock up on snacks. I should be buying Leptovox but instead I get chips or pretzels mostly. This week it’s Pringles. I works out to less than $.50 per day where I spend over $1.00 in the store.

I need to stop going to that store and buy bulk snacks. Not only will it be slightly healthier (because it would be a smaller serving size), but cheaper too.

I’m registered for the Spring semester

I finally added my last class for the Spring semester. That also means that I’m on track to graduate. I filled out the papers for that on Monday when I registered for my English Lit class. I was kinda bummed that the class that I really wanted to take was closed. It’s a sports-related class and I think it’s reserved for athletes only. One of those easy A classes if you get my drift. I ended up taking Women & Literature. It can be a interesting subject if I get a good teacher. I’ll cross my fingers for that.

The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter!

It’s renewal time

I have 2 magazines that I subscribe to. The subscription is running out soon and it’s time to renew them. I had a 2 year subscription and I got it really cheap. I’m not going to renew right away though. Usually if you wait they drop the prices. I plan on waiting until they send me 2 more notices. That should get me a nice price drop.

I only like one of the 2 magazines but they come as a package deal.

I was almost late for work today

I only worked half the day today. I decided to go to school in the morning and then go to work. I had to go to 2 different offices but it was a bunch of back and forth trips. Add to that the mound of paper work that I had to fill out and it was a nightmare. I need to look at hotels las vegas after all of that drama. Anyway my bus broke down and I had to wait for the next bus. I got to work at 12:15 when I had to be there at 12:30. I wanted to get there early so I could have lunch. Instead I had 2 bowls of cereal.

The next time I’ll work in the morning and take off in the afternoon. That way I won’t have to worry about running late.

I do not want to use this vacation day

I have off from work on Tuesday because of Veterans’ Day. I was planning on going to school since it’s open and registering for my last class and applying for graduation. I found out yesterday that the last day to apply for graduation is Monday and if I wait, then I have to pay a $25 late fee.

I pay Pitt enough money without paying late fees. My only option is to use 1/2 of a vacation day on Monday. That stinks because I’m pretty limited on my vacation time. I don’t even get to enjoy the day. I leave work then go to school and take care of business. Then I have to kill 3 hours before my class starts.

I don’t think I can say I’ll be glad to be done with school enough.

Well keep reading because I’m going to tell you how! Everyone knows that the holiday shopping season is upon us. I know I’m ready to shop for sneakers and lipglass, MAC to be exact. Well all you have to do is go to enter the contest is to post your shopping confession. You will then be in the running for over $33K in prizes. That’s enough to pay for your shopping excursion and not have any guilt.

One of my confessions would be that I buy clothes and won’t wear them for 3 months. I don’t know why buy I’ve always done this. It’s a weird habit that I’m trying to break myself out of. I’m so glad the election is finally over

I got tired of the mud slinging and unfair accusations flying across both parties. It just seemed to go on and on. Now that the elections are done, I can focus on normal stuff. You know paying bills like the cable, car insurance, and my cell phone (which I forget to pay every month). I can also enjoy watching television again without seeing tons of political ads.

I know the country is going through changes but I just want normal everyday life back to normal.
